Ryan Lucchesi

Bio

Coach Lucchesi is entering his 13th year at Muskego High School and the 2026 season will be his first as Head Football Coach. Since the 2017 season, Coach Lucchesi has been the Defensive Coordinator for the Warriors. Coach Lucchesi is in charge of the Inside Linebackers and assists Coach Kunick with the mental training part of our football program. In his first season coaching at Muskego, Coach Lucchesi helped coach the Warrior Offense that broke the Classic 8 Conference scoring record.

Coach Lucchesi has been selected as the Classic Eight Assistant Coach of the Year five times. In 2020, he was chosen as the top assistant coach in the state by Travis Wilson from WISSPORTS. Coach Lucchesi’s starting defense gave up an average of 6 points in 2019 and in 2020 an average of 4.2 points. Coach Lucchesi defense has given up the fewest points in the conference since he has been the defensive coordinator.

Following his playing career at West Allis Central, where he played for current Warrior Head Coach Ken Krause, Coach Lucchesi attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. There, he continued his love for the game with a short stint for the Eagles before falling in love with coaching. Coach Lucchesi has coached at West Allis Central and La Crosse Central before joining our program.

This year will be Coach Lucchesi’s 12th full year as a Special Education teacher at Muskego High School. He absolutely loves the work he does every single day to serve the students, athletes, and entire community of Muskego. Coach Lucchesi also an assistant in our strength and conditioning program throughout the school year and summer.

Coach Lucchesi is supported by his lovely wife Courtney, who also coaches Girls Soccer at Muskego and his one year old daughter, Kaiya.
