Troy Mendez

Bio

Coach Mendez is a 1992 graduate of Muskego High School. He played for 4 years under coach Dennis Johnson. He was a 3 year varsity offensive and defensive lineman and a 2 time all conference all area offensive lineman. He also wrestled for coach Mike Nitka in the heavyweight division.

Coach Mendez and his wife Kara live in Muskego with his three kids Isabella 23, Alivia 21 and Austin 18. He works at Inpro as a supervisor in the Endurant department. He is the youth coordinator at Atonement Lutheran Church where he coordinates mission trips, special events and weekly classes for kids from 6th-12th grade.

Coach Mendez has been on the Muskego High School freshman football staff for 7 years, and for the past 8 years he has been the wrestling coach for the JV wrestling team. He also coached in the Muskego youth football program for 11 years, 3 right out of high school under Coach Benny Lewis and 8 years with his son, Austin. He coached his two daughters in soccer and dabbled in a little baseball as well.

Coach Mendez loves coaching, but his passion is to develop relationships with each individual, as well as to be a part of developing young kids into strong, smart confident young men and women, providing them with tools that will make them successful for the rest of their lives.
