Tyler Kunick

Bio

Coach Kunick began teaching and coaching at Muskego High School in 2017. Before joining the Muskego staff Coach Kunick was the defensive coordinator, defensive backs, and outside linebackers coach at Oconomowoc High School. Coach Kunick now serves as the Associate Head coach, Special Teams Coordinator and Outside Linebackers coach for our Warriors and helps run the defense side by side with Coach Lucchesi. Over the course of Coach Kunick’s career, he has been fortunate to help coach nine all state defensive players as well as numerous all conference and all area players. Coach Kunick has won six conference titles as a coach including an undefeated conference championship and state titles in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

Coach Kunick is in charge of our special teams and mental training program at Muskego High School and the Muskego High School Football team. Coach Kunick is also an assistant coach in our strength and conditioning program at Muskego.

Coach Kunick graduated from UW-Madison in the spring of 2011 with a degree in Kinesiology. He received his master’s degree from UW-Madison in August of 2018. He currently teaches Leadership and Health at MHS. Coach Kunick is happily married to his wife Nicole and they have daughter Calla and son Brecken.
